1000 people paddled for Maui Lahaina

One month ago so many lives changed forever and we watched in horror as a town with so much history burned to the ground. Not everything was lost, the structural foundation is destroyed but the heart of Lahaina remains intact. ♥️

At least 1,000 people paddled out to Ukumehame on Friday on the somber one month mark of the deadly fire.

For many it was an opportunity to cry and be with one another and reunite with others for the first time since Aug. 8.
