Storm Shield Forecast morning update 7/25/17

Today expect a high of just 99 in Bakersfield thanks to a low pressure system off shore of the Southern California coast. So we'll still have a wind pattern pushing up some monsoonal moisture from the south-southeast, but I don't think the valley will get as much cloud cover as yesterday so I'm not introducing rain chances. The mountains and desert are seeing some clouds pileup today, so I'll once again call for a 20% chance of thunderstorms there.
