Yesterday drama - today sadness - a lovely young cat left to suffer.

I am being black balled on Rumble - and I don't even know why - another channel with the exact same type and even number of videos has THOUSANDS of views - and this platform brags about being the alternative to youtube....
I was around a village in Jogonolan yesterday, where major ground clearance for a highway project as left many villages as piles of rubble. Driving past a disused mosque I spotted this guy. I thought at first he was an old cat and maybe had been left behind in the abandoned village - so I probably would have taken him anyway..... but when I approached him I realised he had very bad abdominal wounds that were old, but had already formed open abscesses with lots of fluid coming out. I'm sure he hadn't had food or water for at least a couple of days - so after letting him eat and drink a bit, we set off for home - then to the vet.
At the vet the wounds were cleaned again and he was dressed properly, he was going to have to be stabilized for a while before even thinking about debriding and starting to tackle those wounds. He was still in shock and badly anemic. We had to leave him there overnight on a drip and later on he needed Oxygen. Sadly, early this morning he passed away. The vet was trying to arrange a blood transfusion for him.... but it was just too late for him.

I am really sad about this guy, he was really tame and I don't think he had a fair shot in this world..... those wounds were like this for at least a week, possibly even longer - all it would have taken was ONE PERSON to help him in time!

I will try to make a full video about this cat during the coming week if I can find the time, instead of just a short.
