BRICS & The Beast Empire

BRICS has been on the prophetic radar quite a bit lately. What place does it play in Bible prophecy? Will it be the ten kings associated with the antichrist, or at least a forerunner of these ten kings? Or will it be some prophetic entity that is distinct from the beast empire?
