Secret Entrances into Hotel Rooms Possibly Used for Human Trafficking & Over 40 Lawsuits Filed Against Hotel Chains for Human Trafficking in Ohio

Over the last several weeks, there have been a few viral stories about people finding secret entrances into their hotel rooms as well as small recording devices.

Associated with these videos are rumors that children were found in the tunnels. However, I was not able to find any supporting evidence if that was the case.

But…. When searching for more information about this, I learned that in Ohio alone, there are more than 40 individual human trafficking lawsuits that have been filed against major hotel chains ongoing right now. There are similar lawsuits in other states as well. It’s barely being reported on.. I wonder why?

The lawsuit Involves:

• Wyndham Hotels and Resorts
• Intercontinental Hotels Group
• Holiday Inn
• Red Roof Inns
• Choice Hotels International
• Super 8
• Days Inn
• La Quinta
• Motel 6
• Comfort inn
• Quality Inn

For context, those who run these properties, to some degree, are likely complicit with local traffickers.

The lawsuits involving human trafficking are more than likely all sex trafficking/prostitution, where sometimes involving children.

These types of rooms are typically reserved for said rings and the tunnels provide a way out if needed. Or worse. Just an assumption.

A good rule of thumb in my opinion is to NEVER stay at any hotels near highways or airports, as they are more susceptible to human trafficking or illegal behavior.

There are I believe free apps you can download that can detect hidden cameras in a room.

This is more of an awareness post than a “breaking news” post.
Stay safe Fam!
