Luke 5:10-11 New King James Version
10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” 11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they [a]forsook all and followed Him.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
I had an interesting time reading this passage of scripture this morning, because I learned a few things from it that I either didn't know before, or maybe needed to be reminded of. One of which was the fact that Jesus chose simple fishermen to follow Him and look how mightily God used them! I found that surprising and amazing, because calling people like this is unexpected, as well as for many of us insane, because of the fact that they aren't people that we think are worthy of being redeemed, as well as to share the gospel. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional were both challenging and encouraging to me, and I’d like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

How do you react when you hear stories of God at work?

Do you rejoice when you hear of someone who once lived a very sinful lifestyle coming to know Christ as savior, or do you react with criticism and hate? Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from his word, through this vlog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will resonate in your hearts and challenge you to answer God's call. Come join me in this vlog tonight, my friends, and learn for yourself the absolute joy of answering God's amazing, surprising and unique call! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this last question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it convicts your heart to be part of God's call.

How has He surprised you?

I pray that in whatever calling God has given you, that you will respond in obedience to it. Don't resist His calling you to be a witness to your next-door neighbor who happens to be gay, or to the coworker that's a single parent, and struggling to make ends meet. Bravely live out the fact that God calls anyone to serve Him even right where they are, and that God can use you right where you’re at, and allow Him to use you in those strange, surprising, and unique ways.

UNTIL SATURDAY EVERYONE:

HAVE A BEAUTIFULLY SWEET EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
