About Today's Guest: Dr. Tim Clinton
Dr. Tim Clinton is co-host of "Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk," and resident authority on mental health and relationships. Dr. Clinton and Dr. James Dobson have a shared commitment to the preservation of the family, and have been colleagues and friends for nearly 30 years. Dr. Clinton is licensed as a professional counselor and a marriage and family therapist. He is recognized as a world leader in mental health and relationship issues, and spends much of his time working with Christian leaders and professional athletes. In addition, he serves as president of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Dr. Clinton has authored and edited nearly 30 books, including "Focus on the Future" and "Take it Back." He has served at Liberty University for over 30 years in numerous academic roles, including vice provost, professor of counseling, and executive director of the James C. Dobson Center for Child Development, Marriage and Family Studies. He currently serves as the executive director of the Global Center on Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery at Liberty. Dr. Clinton and his wife, Julie, have two grown children and two granddaughters.
