The Greater Idaho Falls Police Foundation has launched a new program to help law enforcement officers buy homes. The Down Payment Assistant Fund provides eligible officers with $6,500 in grants towards a down payment. The fund is available to officers in Bingham, Bonneville, and Jefferson counties. To be eligible, officers must meet certain income requirements.
