NASA SpaceX Crew-5 Astronauts Walk Out for Trip to Launch Pad 39A

NASA's SpaceX Crew-5 astronauts walk out of the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Oct. 5, 2022. The Crew-5 flight will carry NASA astronauts Nicole Aunapu Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina on the Dragon spacecraft, Endurance. They are preparing to greet family and friends before boarding Tesla Model X cars that will take them to Launch Complex 39A. Launch is scheduled for noon EDT to the International Space Station on SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
