Trying to prevent cauliflower ear

Just a reminder that we are planning to transition this channel over to Facebook shortly. Most cases of hematoma we leave alone as the interior environment is sterile and these will generally settle. However, with the ear, you can get a lot of scarring and the development of ‘cauliflower ear’ which is common is wrestlers and boxers. This can reaccumulate easily and may need to be done a few times but this can prevent an otherwise poor cosmetic outcome.
