Search for escaped Pennsylvania murderer enters eighth day

A murderer who executed a daring escape from a prison yard in suburban Philadelphia remained at large on Thursday as the search entered its second week.

Local residents, who endured a tense situation with heavily armed law enforcement personnel searching for the fugitive in their neighborhood for several days, voiced their frustration over the ongoing search and anxiety stemming from the lockdown.

Danilo Souza Cavalcante, a 34-year-old individual from Brazil, managed to break free from the Chester County prison on August 31st, the Associated Press reported.
