Smuggler Allows Illegal Immigrants to Bail Out Before Pursuit

A human smuggler led a DPS Trooper and an Iowa State Trooper on a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Dimmit County.
Prior to taking off, the driver allowed five illegal immigrants to bail out. The driver from Laredo eventually stopped and was arrested.
They are now charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons.
