Peppermint Park: "Blue" (Awful Puppet Sings Sad Song)

Poor Maynard...

This little gem first premiered on the first version of my channel (cringemedia) in 2006, right after Google Video morphed into Youtube. Then appeared on every subsequent channel (after many channel terminations)...

"Peppermint Park" was a forgotten direct-to-vhs kiddie series from the 80's that no one bought, no one cared about, and no one remembered until I started uploading clips from it onto Youtube in 2006 (the first of many terminated channels until finally Youtube left me alone in 2012)...

But a few months ago, I started working on an album soundtrack for the CRINGEVISION channel (like a celebration, favorite songs that have appeared on my channel over the years)....

And while working on that massive collection, I thought "well, since I'm already cleaning up channel-related garbage, might as well go all the way"... And decided to collect most of the songs that were featured on "Peppermint Park,'" and tossed them together a digitally remastered soundtrack...

And producing the original soundtrack was a VERY annoying experience. Hated the material, but felt it was up to me to complete the project (since who else would do it?!?)

I thought it would be a fun idea to include 2 modern dance mixes at the end of the soundtrack, using Ernie's "The Letter M Song" and Maynard's "Blue" as bonuses. But 2 turned into 10, then 20, then 30....

So I went ahead and created a FULL LENGTH "PEPPERMINT PARK" DANCE MIX ALBUM, featuring all the best songs and moments from the series, set to original music and killer beats!!!
