Progressive Congressman Greg Casar is staging a 'thirst strike' for a day in order to call attention to Texas' "Death Star" law, which will end mandatory water breaks for outdoor workers when it goes into effect in September. Casar is calling on the Biden Administration to immediately establish federal protections for outdoor workers as climate change-induced heatwaves become more common.
