"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga series by Gege Akutami, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine. It began serialization in March 2018 and depicts the battles between curses born from negative human emotions and the jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them. The series has 23 compiled volumes released so far, with a staggering 80 million copies in circulation.
The anime adaptation's 1st season aired from October 2020 to March 2021 on MBS/TBS networks, garnering huge popularity in Japan and worldwide. Then in December 2021, the prequel film "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" was released, creating another massive sensation globally.Show more

The 2nd season airing in 2023 will depict the "Omori" and "Tamawari" story arcs focusing on Gojo and Geto's high school days, finally revealing their tragic past that led to their fallout hinted at in the film. Additionally, it's been decided "Shibuya Incident" will also be depicted in the 2-cour season, continuing the story timeline from season 1.

On October 31st Halloween in buzzing Shibuya, a mysterious "barrier" traps masses of civilians. Gojo heads in alone to subdue Shibuya, but it's a trap set by Geto and cursed spirits... Other jujutsu high students and sorcerers gather in Shibuya, and an unprecedented large-scale battle begins! The intense story of curses revolving once again!

In October 2018, tensions at the jujutsu high school rise after an attack by special grade cursed spirits at the goodwill event. Finally, the identity of the traitor is revealed. But who is it, and what is their objective!?

And on October 31st Halloween in Shibuya. A mysterious "barrier" suddenly traps masses of civilians in the area around Shibuya Station. Based on the advanced barrier technique that only captures civilians, and the message "Bring Gojo Satoru here" directed through civilians, the higher-ups decide to send Gojo alone to subdue Shibuya in order to minimize casualties.

Lying in wait inside after setting a trap are Geto and cursed spirits. Braving this alone is Gojo. Gathered outside the barrier are Itadori, Fushiguro, Panda, Nanami and numerous other jujutsu sorcerers. The unprecedented large-scale curse battle between jujutsu sorcerers and cursed spirits/sorcerers finally begins!
