Chicago Officer Involved Shooting 8/11/2023 - 1100 block of W 111th

Intense video of an August 2023 police involved shooting on the 1100 block of W 111th shows the moment two Chicago Police officers were on patrol and saw a confrontation taking place. Officers get out of their squad car and chase after the offender into a house who was seen with a gun in his back pocket. The officers struggle for the gun and the offender fires off a shot. The offender is then shot and killed.

This was a field training officer and a trainee working together. This angle is from the trainee's officer. He started the police academy in December 2022.
