I had doubts about the stick in the matchup as the test smoke I had two days prior was exceptionally dry and pretty much exploded on me. However, for the review the stick performed flawlessly so it must have just been that one stick. Overall a really good pairing. I was impressed with the Still Austin Straight Bourbon. It was very complex and interesting, and an overall very good dram. The stick offered some great palate notes and as I said performed perfectly.
