Wood splitting Grandma 🤣🔥learning to split wood #lumberjill

It feels good learning to be self sufficient! I just learned how to split wood a few months ago, there is definitely a learning curve for little old ladies 🤣

Last year we installed a wood stove and bought firewood. This year we are cutting our own from all the deadfall in the woods around our house. With all the craziness going on in our country, I am love knowing we will be warm this winter and don't have to rely on anyone but ourselves.
