Officially treated as a conspiracy theory, the surviving members of the green beret patrol were forced to redact and rewrite their initial after-action reports. These reports stated that while they were looking for a missing patrol of infantrymen, a 15 foot red-headed giant emerged from a nearby cave, killing one soldier with a spear, before taking on sustain gunfire and dying. The body was supposedly transported via helicopter by the Army and was never seen from again. The soldiers were made to sign a NDA, and the operation to find the missing patrol was classified as top-secret. The US government denies the claims of the giant and it’s subsequential death, but enough people saw first hand what happened that it remains a plausible mystery.
