Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 - Still Iconic 70 Years Later?

Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53, this week we are taking a look at the first Zodiac to feature on the channel ZO9212. A big thanks to Zodiac for sending in the Super Sea Wolf 53 Skin Automatic for review. 

Zodiac has a rich history of watch-making starting in 1882, it became Zodiac by name in 1908. 

This model in particular pays homage to their first dive watch, the Sea Wolf. The 53 gets its name from 1953 when the watch was released. It kept in good company that year with two other icons being launched, the Rolex Submariner and the Blancpain 50 fathoms. The aim was to make a robust dive watch for the burgeoning sport of recreational scuba diving.
