The Secret Place (Campus Revolution, Philippines 2023)

Private victories precede public victories. (1 Samuel 17v34-35)

You can’t be a giant killer publicly until you are a lion killer privately.

Christians build their life on Christ with two materials: fireproof or flammable. (1 Corinthians 3v12)

Wood, hay, and straw are found on the ground. 
Gold, silver, and precious stone are found underground. 

Wood, hay, and straw are found in large quantities.
Gold, silver, and precious stone are found in small quantities. 

Wood, hay, and straw are cheap.
Gold, silver, and precious stones are expensive.

Wood, hay, and straw are common.
Gold, silver, and precious stones are rare.

Wood, hay, and straw are destroyed by fire.
Gold, silver, and precious stones are purified by fire.

Whatever you are hiding today will change your tomorrow.

You will either live in secret place or in secret sin. (Matthew 6v4, Matthew 6v6, Matthew 6v18)

Prayer defeats pride.
Giving defeats greed.
Fasting defeats lust.
‌
If you don’t pray, you stray. Sacrifice is more than offering, it’s giving that hurts. God didn’t call us to be busy but to be fruitful. (Colossians 1v10)

We need God because we came from God. (Genesis 1V11, Genesis 1v20, Genesis 1v26) We need God the way fish needs water and trees need soil. Water is still water without fish but fish is dead without the water.
Soil is still soil without plants but plants are dead with the soil.
God is still God without man but man is dead without God.

Don’t go to prayer to find God go there to be with him. (Exodus 24v12)

God loves your presence more than you love His. (Psalm 149v4, Zephaniah 3v17, John 3v16)

Run to the secret place when you fall into secret sin. (Genesis 3v9,
Isaiah 1v18)
