Dramatic lightning storm captured by high altitude drone

A dramatic thunder and lightning storm swept across the sky in Peterborough, Ontario, sending lightning across the clouds. Thunder rolled and clouds gathered. In order to capture the spectacle, a drone was launched and taken to a height of 200m (660 feet). The storm built and the winds picked up but the drone held steady until it became clear that the rain was on its way.
