Live a Kingdom Life (NOT NOW, but when Jesus comes!)

We are not called to live a Kingdom life now. We will only live a Kingdom life when Jesus comes and God's Kingdom is established on the earth.

At present Satan is the god of this age and it is his kingdom that is advancing. Jesus asked, if there would be any faith left when he returned.

If you are equipped with the knowledge of God's coming kingdom then you should know this.

The impact of Jesus' words is only for the future advancement of God's Kingdom when he comes There is no present advancement of God's kingdom in our world today. Be challenged to follow God's leading in Scripture for your life and be the salt and light in our needy world.

But if salt loses it's saltiness, it will be discarded. Cling to the Kingdom JESUS preached and proclaimed, not a false and fanciful "kingdom now."

We are not reigning, nor is Jesus, in this world today. In fact, Paul says we are scum, not kings. We are persecuted, not ruling.

But God promised that He will send His Son to rule and we will rule with him in the future millennium! Jesus said, I come quickly and my reward is WITH me.

We are servants now. Jesus is our lord and master. His teachings should impact our lives as we strive to be like him. We should be living christ-like lives now, not "kingdom lives." Again, there is no present advancement of God's kingdom in our world today. Don't be fooled. And don't waste your time trying to rule now in any way. Do what Jesus told his followers to do. Go make disciples (not Kingdom citizens.) He did not tell you to "advance the kingdom" and that is not what he did. He said I must PROCLAIM the good news about God's coming Kingdom!
