Falling Away From The Blessed Hope: Deceived By Worldly Cares and Ideas

The Holy Bible promises that the day of Christ shall not come except there come a falling away first (II Thessalonians 2:1-3). As Bible believers we have a blessed hope of being saved from the wrath of God when he pours it out on the earth before the day of the LORD (judgment starts in Rev 6) . It is departing from the faith to leave off looking for the blessed hope (the day of Christ) and instead looking for the day of the LORD.
Amos 5:18 KJV Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

This study will help you rightly divide the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15) and make sure you are not misapplying the scriptures that are meant for the day of the LORD to the day of Christ. Although it is prophesied that there shall be a falling away and a departing from the faith (I Timothy 4:1-2) it does not mean that you have to be a part of it! Stand on the doctrine of the Holy Bible and do not desire the day of the LORD.
