ماہِ صفر اور بدشگونی

صفر کے مہینے میں اہل بدعت نے کچھ خرافات اور بدعات ایجاد کر رکھی ہیں ، مثلا : ماہ صفر کی آخری بدھ سیر وتفریح کے لئے باہر نکلنے والا تہوار منایا جاتا ہے ۔ اس مہینے کو باعث نحوست سمجھنا اور تیرہ تیزی کا باطل نظریہ وغیرہ جیسی بدعات جن کی تفصیل بروج ریسرچ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کی پبلکشن میں ملاحظہ کی جا سکتی ہے ۔

Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said: Taking omens is polytheism

The sahabi said “Every one of us has some, but Allah removes it by tawakkal (in Him)”

In another hadith : “but I am pleased with good omens”

One can not believe that after seeing or listening to something, something bad will happen to him

On the other hand, upon seeing or listening to something, one can believe that something good will happen to him

This is allowed in the Shariah, and there is evidence for it

Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) was in the middle of something, and sahabi named Suhail came

He (PBUH) said: Suhail has come, now our matter will be simplified (Suhail roughly translates to ease)

Similarly, if someone loses something, and he is in search for it and infront of him, one person calls the other by name, and by what name?

O Wajid (finder)

O Wajid come here

So the person that is looking for something can have good hopes with Allah, that now he will definitely find what he is looking for

They also say, If a person is making dua, once he is done it starts raining, then this is a sign that his dua will be accepted

Similarly, if someone is traveling and hears someone calling out O Rashid (guider to the correct path), then he can believe that he is on the correct path

Another person is going for an exam and someone calls him Muflih (Successful), and the person made lots of Duas and is stressed out,

But someone said “O successful person”, then he can take good omen from this, that inshAllah his paper will go well

Another is going for a major business transaction, and he met a good and pious person,

Then from this, a person can take good omen and say that he will definitely be successful

This belief wont be of blessing, rather it would be having a positive mindset with Allah
