Random Rants: The WGA Doesn't Understand The Studios Or Their Ultimate ENDGAME!

The Writers Guild of America strike is entering its 5th month, and even since it began, the WGA, the studios and their negotiators have failed to produce a deal. The AMPTP seemed to address their concerns, the Writers Guild of America rejected it. Now with no end in sight, Bill Maher has weighed in on the matter, echoing what many have said since the very beginning: the WGA went on strike at the wrong time and they never truly had any real leverage over the studios. They also seem to forget that the AMPTP never wanted to negotiate with the WGA at all. In fact, it appears they've been planning to bury the union this entire time.
