Gay Trump Official Roasted for Condemning Texas GOP’s Ban on Gay Republican Group

Former Trump administration official Richard Grenell faced backlash when he publicly condemned the Republican Party’s announcement to host the 2028 GOP convention in Houston, Texas. He pointed out that Texas is the only state where the gay Republican group “Log Cabin Republicans” is banned from their state convention. Predictably, many of his conservative followers did not respond kindly to his denunciation of the Texas Republican Party’s homophobia.
