G’day, and welcome back. Today we're touring the Batu Caves, but we've come across something unexpected, and we've had a unique experience compared to other bloggers who have visited previously.

Batu Caves is a well-known tourist destination in Selangor. Batu Caves, home to a Hindu temple and shrine, draws tens of thousands of devotees and tourists each year, notably during the Hindu festival Thaipusam. Batu Caves, a limestone outcrop about north of Kuala Lumpur, features three main caves with temples and Hindu shrines. Its main feature is a big statue of a Hindu God (Lord Murugan) at the entrance, as well as a not too hard 272-step journey up the steps to finally see the city's breathtaking cityscape. Monkeys frolic in the caves, which are also a favourite destination for rock climbers. The Ramayana Cave also houses paintings and scenes of Hindu gods.
