Guide Dogs is celebrating 90 years of helping people with sight loss live the life they choose. As part of this, we've created 'Flash', a short, animated film, and our most recent TV advert, that celebrates our amazing dogs, volunteers, and staff, who have been at the heart of our life changing work since the beginning.

Follow Flash the pup, on her 12-month journey alongside her puppy raiser. Watch as she tries to gain the early experiences and skills needed to become a guide dog.

Flash is named after one of the UK's first four guide dogs. She was partnered with World War One veteran, Alan Caldwell in 1931.

Our 90th Anniversary pup has been named after Flash too. Born on 13 January 2021, Flash was recently partnered with her own puppy raiser and the public will be able to follow their real-life journey throughout the year on social media or by visiting:
We all know that dogs like the simple pleasures in life. All they need to be happy is a bowl of kibble, the walks down the street, those frequent trips to the dog park and of course, their favorite toys! Just like kids, dogs have their own favorite toys and they all differ. Some like a ball, other a good leather shoe. But if someone were to ask this pooch what his favorite toy was, you would be amazed at his responsel

There are so many types of toys on the market designed and intended for dogs precisely, but it ultimately boils down to one thing - it is the tactile stimulation that makes the most meaningful difference. If the dog likes the way the toy feels when it uses it, it will continue to ask for it. But what if it is not only one toy in question? What if we are dealing with a multitasking pooch who wants, nay - need, many many toys in the same time. Watch the video at the top of the page!

This is hilarious! This dog loves tennis balls, he loves to play with them and grab them with his teeth. A local tennis Instructor delivers 300 used tennis balls only to make this lovely pooch content and well-exercised. Is'n this nice? When one tennis ball falls onto the ground, the dog immediately grabs onto it, he has so much energy and excitement after seeing the ball, so funny! Then something crazy starts to happen, a few more balls start to land on the ground, and this dog can't believe it! What is going on? Where are all these balls coming from? He can't contain all this excitement! Is this what they call dog's heaven?

All of a sudden, a few hundred more hit the ground all at oncel it's raining tennis balls! What a sight to see, this dog has never been luckier. The things he loves most are raining down from the sky, crazy! He doesn't even care that half of them are hitting him, he is just so happy to see all of them come down. It looks like the kids want to join in on the fun too! Awesome! The dog definitely hit the Jackpot, thanks to this tennis instructor!

We just imagine what would happen if dogs could browse and watch through this entire video. What would happen? Would they call their single-ball throw in the park a real exercise anymore! So, folks, when watching this make sure your four-legged pal is safely resting in the next room.

Do you love to play tennis? Take a look at these tennis balls so you can start a match with your friends! Maybe you can even give some of these balls away to some dogs, they will be very happy!
