Defying the record-breaking heat and encouraging Autumn to arrive with a cozy fall porch makeover

In the Little house where the Pixies and the Potager alike have been attempting to survive record breaking temperatures and next to no rain for weeks, it was agreed, that it was past time to put a stop to summers shenanigans!
The Oak and Pecan trees had long tired of the scorching heat and had decided in unison to take a stand, by dropping a thick layer of leaves across the potager.
The Pixies and their taller folk took this as a sign and joined the brave trees stand against "solar brutality" by making over the porch in a cozy fall theme...a simple hint to Autumn that she would be welcome at the Little House!
The Sun seems to have scootched closer to see what we are all up to down here, and the leafy folk are exhausted and droopy by the Suns unrelenting interest in their affairs.
Please join us as we remind Autumn that affecting summer's airs is unbecoming of such an otherwise lovely season and that she should instead bring a fresh change of color and temperature to her overheated fans....
