Cushing's syndrome

Cushing's syndrome is a medical condition characterized by an excessive level of cortisol, a hormone produced by the adrenal glands. This can be caused by various factors, such as prolonged use of corticosteroid medications, tumors in the adrenal glands or the pituitary gland, or other underlying health issues. Symptoms may include weight gain, high blood pressure, muscle weakness, and changes in skin appearance.
