Five Pheasants

Snakes, spiders and ... the other things are but contrast to the many wonders that abound in Outer Territories. "Ten Mile Ranch" (better stick with the text vs numeral) is OT's sister channel that focuses more on the ranch, West and Montana experience.
Notes:
1. Phineas the Pheasant is the resident male that claimed the complex before my arrival and has tolerated me since. For about a year, that is. He's been MIA for a couple months. Worrisome as he got used to being fed x3 a day. He did, however, vanish for 2 weeks during breeding time and have heard they go away to molt. Which makes no sense but whadda I know?
2. I don't remember noting his absence last year but was still in wide-eyed stunned mode.
3. FTR, those may have been five MALES. Aren't supposed to hang together per refs x winter but what flashes I saw as they flew off are suspect. AND I swear I saw 5 males in same area, hanging out either early Spring or Fall last year. Birds anyway.
4. Female turkeys look similar but betting on RNPs on flight bolting glimpses.
