Have you ever prayed to God to cause something you are facing not to happen? Where you pleaded with Him in ardent prayer? After all of your many petitions, the answer comes. He wants you to walk through it.

I have experienced this many times in my life. And in a strange kind of way I have been exercised in it. Yes, I will always pray for the Lord to divert the scary path before me. At the same time there is a knowing that He may very well want me to walk through it.

When He has chosen that way for me a strange kind of peace would come over me. I found that each time He walked with me, in a sense, taking me my the hand in it and I made it out. There was a humble, holy silence of a peace that remained and never left me, even until now.

If this describes you, know for sure if the Lord wants you to walk through it, He goes with you. You will actually feel His Presence in a strong way. You will be brought through it for His namesake.

"Doubt not His grace because of thy tribulation." ~ Charles Spurgeon
