Skyrim part 23 - Revenge [series 1 chapter 2 starts]

"Revenge" deals with Malryn shortly after part 21's end. He is still in Morthal, lamenting and fuming over Lydia's death at the hands of the master vampire, Movarth, and his small band of blooded vampires and thralls. He eventually decides to act on his rage and take revenge before leaving the town. At first he wants to kill the citizens there for failing to help but turns to the cave once more with a determined drive and runs to meet his destiny, one way or another. He is faced with Lydia's ghost at the entrance but moves on to see the child ghost, now freed of the vampire's curse, stationed near the entrance. Malryn moves in further and is able to dispatch the blooded vampires and thralls, finding the master vampire already dead. He assumes Lydia was able to defeat him before succumbing to her injuries. It was too dark to tell but some of the blooded vamps were female and may have been Lydia, now arisen as a slave or vampire herself. One strange occurrence takes place when Malryn lifts up a strange object (Meridia's Beacon) and hears a commanding, ghastly voice in his mind, telling him to find Mount Kilkreath and return the beacon there...
