Entrepreneur and blogger Joshua Maponga said the economy is now "running on Nixon's false idea of converting the US dollar from gold to fiat."

“Americans do not need any reinforcement for their economy. All they have to do is go to the photocopier and photocopy more papers,” he said.

According to Maponga, now is the moment in Zimbabwe when all the gold stolen by the Europeans will return to Africa.

“When we sell you our corn, our flowers, our coal, we don't want any damn paper money in our account. Pay in gold! Bring them from your reserves in London, in Lisbon, in New York, in Frankfurt. Do you need iron ore and manganese? We need gold bars ,” said a Zimbabwean blogger.
