Football player Timothy Burroughs-Love (17) collapses of sudden cardiac arrest mid-game

18 AUG 2023. American Heritage player Timothy Burroughs-Love (17) collapsed due to a sudden cardiac arrest during the first quarter of the first high school football game of this season. He was on the sideline at the time.

He received immediate CPR and needed to be shocked with a defibrillator twice.

He survived, but his football career is over. It is unclear how much permanent heart damage he suffered and how much his life expectancy has been reduced.

Doctors are trying to determine why Timothy had this sudden, unexpected cardiac arrest. It’s a high probability that the Holy Injectable Elixir won’t be considered out loud.
