Tucker Carlson on being fired from Fox News for his pro-Russian stance:

My opinion of Fox hasn't really changed. They've let me say whatever I want for 14 years. And I will never stop being grateful for that. And then, of course, I said too much. And I don't know exactly what I said wrong. Nobody has ever told me exactly what it was. Our view of the war in Ukraine was very, very hateful to them. I could feel it. Although my view was never pro-Russian. I just said that this is not our fight, it is not in our favour. That we should stop the war because people are dying in the war. This was seen as crazy pro-Kremlin propaganda. They were very angry about it. But to their credit, they never said it to me directly. I could just sense it in the air.
