Luis Fonsi - Despacito ft. Daddy Yankee

"Despacito" is a reggaeton and Latin pop song by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi and featuring Daddy Yankee. It was released on January 12, 2017, as the lead single from Fonsi's ninth studio album, Vida. The song was written by Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, Erika Ender, and Andrés Torres, and produced by Torres and Mauricio Rengifo.

The song is about a man's desire for a woman and his request for her to dance with him slowly. The lyrics are in Spanish, but a remix featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber was released in April 2017, which added an English translation.

"Despacito" became a global hit, topping the charts in over 50 countries, including the United States, where it became the longest-running number-one single of all time on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
