Drug and alcohol addiction and abuse is an overwhelming problem in our country, and right here in Milwaukee as well. A community of DJs, musicians, and artists are coming together in a special event to raise awareness, remember lost loved ones, and bring love and support to those who are still struggling. Amanda Derewicz and Bryan Garay are hosting the event, and they join us with more information. "Drop the Needle" takes place on Saturday, July 22 from 2pm to 6pm at 157 S 1st Street in Downtown Milwaukee. For more information, check out the Facebook event page.
