Bits of Torah Truths - The Importance of the Torah in Our Lives - Episode 1

I have been saying for years that the Torah is very relevant for our lives and our walk with the Messiah. Today there is a lot of push back in the church against living a Torah based life. This is because most people have been taught and raised to believe the Law had been done away with. In light of these things it is a good exercise to look in the NT text and see if the text itself emphasizes the importance of the Torah in our lives?

It is important to note that for every verse that one may use to support the idea that the Torah has passed away there are two to three verses that say otherwise. So, either there are a lot of contradictions in God’s word or there is a misunderstanding on someone’s part. And since we know that God’s word doesn’t have contradictions in it, a misunderstanding is probably what we are dealing with. In this series we will be looking at the Torah and the NT text and see what we can learn!
