Brains, Minds and Machines - The Science and Technology of Intelligence"
BCS Professor Josh Tenenbaum

Since its origins in the 1950’s MIT has played a key role in inventing cognitive science, computer science and artificial intelligence. Intelligence continues to present one of the great intellectual challenges of our time. It seems that the problem of intelligence, of how the brain generates it, and of how to make truly intelligent machines, is still an unsolved riddle. In this talk you will learn where we are today in the understanding of intelligence and why we are so excited about the future.
