Welcome to the 2nd National Deliverance Training Conference Day-3 Monday morning September 4th, 2023! Pastor Greg Locke & Global Vision Bible Church welcome Pastor Henry Shaffer!!! Pastor Henry B. Shaffer Sr. pastors the University Parkway Church of God in Aiken, SC for the past 23 years. He is married to his wife and best friend of 48 years, Fran Wylds Shaffer. He has three children and numerous grand-children and a great- grandchild.

He began his career at an early age in the field of Electrical Construction, moving into Plant Maintenance for Major Pharmaceutical Companies. His supporting roles in Electrical, Instrumentation and Engineering Projects were valuable assets to the success of many projects.

He was called into full time ministry in 2000. In 2003, he led University Parkway Church in a major building project to establish a new facility in 2005.

In 2007, he founded a Christian radio station, WUCC 99.9 fm. Completed the FCC filing and launched the mission in 2014, by putting God’s Word on the radio 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In 2015, Deliverance exploded at University Parkway Church. For the last eight years, people descend upon the church to receive deliverance. They come from all walks of life and from across America and the world for deliverance.

In 2016, the ministry Spiritual Freedom Network (SFN) was developed. He is part of the Board of Directors for SFN ministry.

In 2023, he had a cameo appearance in the movie, “Come Out In Jesus Name” by Locke Media. He is a sought after speaker and seminar instructor to teach the Body of Christ about the Ministry of Deliverance.
