Water slides shut down after new law goes into effect

A state law that went into effect on July 1 has led to a number of public pool water slides to be shut down across Kansas. The law was put in place after last year's Schlitterbahn tragedy and requires water slides to be properly inspected. Due to a jam of inspection requests, several public water slides in Kansas remain closed this week.
