Recycling facilities declining, we could be to blame

The recycling industry is facing an unprecedented amount of challenges. And we all may be partially to blame. The problem of people attempting to recycle non-recyclable items is as pervasive in Kansas City as anywhere else, especially regarding items known as “tanglers,” which are long and stringy, and easily get twisted up in other material.
