#RanDaamnRant w/ DaamnKam (9-3-23) Blessed to have survived {+} finally answering ‘messagerequests’…

Waking up to another beautiful day on the #IOB, packing a bag, strapping up & heading out on a Daamn hike! Join (DK) on a journey through Hawaiian terrain & some discussion as HOT as the lava was We can be seen trekking throughout the video. That was to be the end of it… Until…….
We unexpectedly got a(nother) ‘message request’, again from someone unknown to us on the ‘book of faces’. The notification came in while recording what’s turned out to be ‘the first half’ of this particular #DaamnRant….. We’ve been intentionally ignoring random messages on messenger, (responding more frequently to iopiob@proton.me), ever since #ThunderWoodworth died. Honestly, The amount of scrutiny we’ve been up against was a lot, *before Our more public approach of *#RaisingConcern & asking people for information. It’s calmed down a bit now, at least socially speaking, as we’ve established a couple reliable connections that were closer to the proverbial ‘lightning’ strike.
Essentially, if you e no Daamn idea what we’re talking about…. Our best friend overdosed & went into a coma. His newlywed posted publicly that he died. We got a phone call from our mutual 3rd age-old brother, ‘T, informing Us of Thunders passing…. Though, We didn’t believe it! Asking questions like, “Where’d you hear that?” “Do you know his wife very well?” “Are you sure they met in rehab & use drugs together?” … “Is it possible that she’s upset with him & simply starting drama?”… We didn’t feel Our brothers absence. We told this to ‘T, but who else could we expect to understand such a ‘feeling’(?) Peoven to be true, as Thunder was revived & kept alive for well-over a week… We didn’t grieve then, because he was still alive, yes, but primarily because We didn’t understand what happened… once We conversed with those *physically closest to him, We were able to form somewhat of timeline of events. ‘Hearsay’, sure, yet many facts added up from multiple sources. This is where things got worse, because when We finally tracked down the correct hospital, they wouldn’t tell us a Daamn thing because we, “Weren’t on the list”. We did, however, get them to inadvertently confirm two things… Thunder was there (alive!) - and - Amy was the only person on his ‘approved contact list’.

We didn’t keep in as close of contact with Our brother after what became his second to last ‘real’ #relapse… For those unfamiliar with the ‘Daamn’ that is ‘Kam’, We are (also) in #recovery from #drugaddiction. We’ve were in war for 16 years or so…. Now, by the grace of (Our) God, ‘I’m’ over 3 years into a program of #Recovery & have to be extremely cautious. (Undergoing something of a ‘paradigm shift’ on January 2nd, 2020, finding out We were to be someone’s dad!!!
That said, Thunder is 1 of just 2 brothers of Ours, more than just ‘best friends’, he & ‘T have *both been Our family since 6th grade… After having a son, it became easier to have an excuse not to travel ‘overtone’ to see the brothers… (that, & Thunder was living in Tennessee for a ‘lil grip).
We were much closer before September (or maybe October) of ‘22. We remember sitting in a uhaul on Weirdbey island, 2,600 miles from Aloha, having just gotten off the phone with ‘T, doing everything We could to get the 3 of us together while ‘I’ was there on island, In Washington, in September of 2022. Thunder was busy, like ‘T, & just as I was about to accept that he’d already committed toward bailing, he got extremely ‘Real’. That was the last time We cried with Our brother, the last ‘Real’ conversation with Thunder.
Sure, the two of us talked after that, but it was mainly surface level stuff. The very last connection we had was over FaceTime (he liked to FT). ‘I’ was actually just up above the ‘#Daamnyon’ there in #theHOVE & he called. We reminisced on old times, of course, fortunately We had plenty of those. Not the first we’ve known to check out this way, and way too early, but this is - just — So many questions unanswered. Multiple inconsistencies unearthed… Ultimately, We’ve come to accept that Thunder did this to Thunder… HOWEVER, as We said during the impromptu half of this #RanDaamnRant, We cannot process something We don’t understand.
We decided, (while he was still alive), We were willing to do what was necessary to do ensure that Thunder would be one that We wouldn’t owe a Daamn apology to. We will continue to ask questions, reach out to thunders friends, (&, more importantly in regards to an accurate depiction of a truthful narrative, his ‘using buddies’). We’re expecting some important information out of Pierce county, as well as entertaining the prospect of another FaceTime with Amy McCarthy, should she so choose. *We’ve initiated very little contact with her since Thunder’s ‘Real’ passing.
