I want to talk today about giving thanks to God with our whole heart we see that in Psalm 111 which says praise the Lord I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart in the company of the upright in the congregation greater The Works of the Lord studied by all who Delight in them full of Splendor and Majesty is his work and his righteousness endures forever that could go on and on because it's such a beautiful Psalm and there's so much there's so much here that's so wonderful but we're going to focus on giving thanks to the Lord with our whole heart what does it look like to give thanks to God with your whole heart this is far more than just lip Services is far more than even just singing some Praises on Sunday morning for on all honest we know that there are times when maybe you're not fully awake maybe you're not fully into into things sometimes it takes time to I get over the thoughts and Rush what's rushing through your mind to really focus and give God the worship that he is do we want to give God worship with our whole Hearts we want to give him worship with everything within us I if someone were to save someone in your family from danger if a child was in the street if your child was in the street and they saved them they got them out of the street because a car was coming and then you know that they could have potentially saved their life you would be thanking them profusely you would be thanking them with your whole heart
this is a deep wholehearted thanks for what they have done and that is the way in which we ought to be thanking God for all that he's done for us understanding that we are deserving of his wrath but he is gracious and merciful and he is abounding in steadfast love and so we want to give him things with everything in us so Let Us Praise the Lord Let Us Praise the Lord for all of his good works Let Us Praise the Lord for his Redemptive plan and Let Us Praise Him with our whole heart
