Highschool football player collapsed during game…

How is it uncommon for athletes to experience cardiac arrest on the courts and/or field but at the same time it’s the leading cause of death!!? Can someone explain that!!? Young older or in the middle it’s happening to all ages and happening all around the world. We never heard of this until the rollout of jabs at the end of 2020 beginning of 2021.
