There are always moments when you feel like a cold drink but forgot to put one on cold. But fortunately there is a small ingenious lifehack! Because here I show you how you can cool drinks within seconds, without a refrigerator. All you need is water, some ice and a home remedy, which you surely have in the house.

The home remedy is salt. Take a container big enough to hold all the drinks you want to cool down quickly. Then add water to the container and some ice. It's best to fill it about 2/3 full with water and then fill the last third with ice cubes. Now the salt comes into play. Preferably as much as possible. Because the more salt there is in this mixture, the faster the drinks cool down.

Now you just have to wait. The salt lowers the temperature quickly, and for this it needs energy, which it draws from the "warm" drinks and cools them down so quickly. So you actually have your drinks cooled down within seconds. The longer you wait, the colder the drinks get.

I waited about 5-6 minutes here and my can, which was previously room temperature, is now cooled down to 7-8 degrees, which is refrigerator temperature.
