Kaico SEGA Genesis & 32X - 2X Line Doubler HDMI Adapter Overview

This Kaico SEGA HDMI converter was developed for use with SEGA consoles was designed so you could use your Sega Mega Drive MD, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, or SNK Neo Geo CD / CDZ & AES on a Modern TV with a simple ‘plug and play’ solution.

I was asked about it working with the 32X, so I decided to take a look for myself. That's what I do in this video. The two 32X games featured in this video are: Space Harrier and Afterburner; only two good games on the 32X. To demonstrate that the Sega Genesis works with this device, I show Castle of Illusion (Featuring Mickey Mouse).

This HDMI Adapter for SEGA uses Line Doubling features to enhance the original input image. For instance, a 240p or 480i output from a Sega Megadrive/Saturn will output 480p. This leads to a better, clearer, and more vivid display image over a standard HDMI adapter or AV cable set up.
