Russian life coach offers ‘buried alive’ therapy

Ever wished the ground would just swallow you up? This Russian therapist is on hand to grant your wish (sort of). Stressed-out Russians have begun partaking in a bizarre relaxation technique, which involves burying themselves alive, as a way to temporarily cut themselves off from the world, and give the senses a break.

Footage shows the eager participants happily digging their own ‘graves’, as well as helping to bury each other (breathing apparatus included, it should be noted). A typical burial lasts around an hour, with reactions ranging from a renewed sense of wonder and love for the planet, to ‘Eew, it’s cold and damp.’
